Lesson 9

Saturday was a very long day for us. Brandon is taking ice skating at the local rink in the morning. The class has three or four kids in it. All the children are doing so well that she is teaching them tot 2 lessons in a tot 1 class. So this is lesson 3 but it's Brandons ninth lesson all together.
This is "tea pot".

"Ring a round the rosie"

And this is teaching the kids how to skate backwards. How cute are they? After the lesson we drove up to Walter Reed and drove some soldiers to the Kenny Chesney Concert at the M&T stadium in Baltimore.......

I will post the concert pics on Wednesday but we had a blast.

Ice skating lesson 8

Okay the videos are of the kids learning how to jump and the second is fish going up and down as they go across the ice. Cute huh?

Today Brandon has a friend over playing. I thought I would watch Logan while they have their house packed up. I know from experience it is really difficult to have you house packed while you have kids and animals there. I will post those pictures on Friday.

lesson eight ice skating

ok so here we are again ice skating. Have you heard of speed skating before? Brandon speed runs on his skates lol He doesn't glide on them he runs on them - very fast lol. We skate after his lesson is over and he keeps up with me RUNNING on his skates. It just cracks me up.

Brandon and Elmo from Sesame Street

Sesame Street is helping families thru a new program called
Talk, Listen, Connect Deployments, Homecomings, Changes. In recognition of the contributions made by the United States Armed Forces, Sesame Workshop presents this bilingual educational outreach initiative designed for military families and their young children to share.
We were asked if Brandon wanted to meet Elmo and be filmed for this program. They told us that our footage might be used on the news as promotional footage. The web site is http://www.sesameworkshop.org/tlc/ for anyone who has be deployed and has young children this is a great program.

This is Brandon holding an Elmo puppet that they gave the children.

Brandon meeting Elmo and giving him a hug.
Brandon and Elmo talking :)
A hug goodbye. This was all very sweet (a chance in a lifetime) and I hope Brandon will always remember when he met Elmo.

Baltimore part 3 Thomas the Train.

Here we are exploring a submarine. Wow it was a tight fit. I have a picture of Brandon going thru the door but I can't get it on blogger. The hatches and halls - everything is so tight I don't see how any of the men could stand it.
Oh no, Brandon is steering the ship. Good thing Daddy is there to help.
Posing with the crew. Yes, Brandon is "helping" with the firearm - sigh. He is just like his daddy.

We also visited the railroad station. Guess who was visiting? Thomas the train. This is a Lego Thomas. He is wearing a pirate hat that we bought when we left the above ship the day before.
Look at me!
Face painting. I asked him what he wanted and he said a black spider web. I don't know why he adds "web" when he talks about spiders but anyway here he is with his black spider. One of the ladies that came with us told Brandon he had a spider on his face and was going to smack it. Brandon quickly replied "No, no it paint, it's paint."
It was very cold and wet, but here is Brandon outside playing on a wooden train.
Inside posing for mommy.
